I haven't made a public post in a LONG time, but this is important and probably doesn't need to be screened or private.  In a few weeks I will participate in the American Diabetes Association's Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes.

I have done this every year except one since my father was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.  I believe this will be 5 time walking.  This is very important to me, because I love my father very much and want him to live out the rest of his life as well as possible.  Research on diabetes can only continue with funding, and so I walk.
